Apple's packaging - 'Aqua' degradable by VR-Zone.com

Apple may have revoked its green certification some time ago after asking EPEAT (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool) to remove all of its products from the green registry, however, they have a new form of packing technology that is biodegradable before your eyes - with some warm water.

Abandoned space.

Many people didn’t even heard about these famous abandoned places. Many of these places are really amazing and magnificent, but they’re also really sad when you take a closer look at them.

Coffee pod greenwashing comes to America with Illy and Terracycle

It’s a new low in phoney feel-good environmentalism as one-shot plastic pods are shipped around the country and downcycled.

Does this make you feel better about your coffee??? It shouldn’t.

About

Garbage. I like to think about it. I like to read about it. So I'm writing my dissertation... about it.

I'm not simply interested in what you throwaway (or recycle or compost) everyday. Or how you make really cool things out of used products destined for the dump. I want to explore more than just physical objects. By studying the networks in which waste is produced it is possible to explore how political and economic structures produce environmental degradation (ie in the words of TWL "sustainable degradation" ) . And that is what I will do. Here. In garbourgeoisie.
